Appointments are required. You must bring a valid, unexpired photo ID. Accepted forms of ID include a driver's license, state ID, passport, or military/government ID. The center offers several service levels:

- State-only or FBI-only check: $40.00
- FD-258 fingerprint card: $21.00
Once you have your fingerprint card, you submit it to CJIS in Pikesville along with Form 015 and the state fee. The Waldorf fingerprinting site handles the print-taking part. CJIS handles the actual background check.
